Sunday Februray 28, 2010

I ended up taking 9th tonight. $10 not really that impressive. But I end up doing really well in the overall leader board.

I also end up in 4th tonight in Slydawg once again not that impressive, but look where it finished me in the overall leader board over there.

I end up losing to 44 with 66 to a 4 card flush in the 200k at FTP....dude calls off 2/3rds of his stack all in preflop with 4's...its poker. I lose with AA in the dime to KQ.

Saturday Februrary 27th, 2010

Excellent game played by me. I was short stacked early gambled with a flush draw, and it hit. Played Short Stacked until late in HU. I went into HU as a 4:1 Underdog. Managed to check raise his high continuation betting percentage to pick up some chips, and then he ended up shoving k10 into my QQ preflop. (I limped and set a trap.)

I also won the 4king poker games, as you can see from the post before this.

On the late night I ran one satellite to The Dime 10k tournament at UB and I won that also. Once again extremely short stacked and managed to out play my opponents when it really mattered.

Also jumped over to Jolly Roger Poker and made around 45% of my buy-in.

I don't know if Ill run anything else tonight. Its 1:32, and I am sure I could use the rest for tomorrow.

My Crew Cup team played really well tonight, but since we were too many points from Top 4 even though we passed two teams....we needed to pass three.

I still need to pick up a few more tickets for tomorrow. Maybe I will do that when I wake up.

PokerOrifice.....I am not a liar....

So PokerOrifice before you think you're tracker is 100% correct.....How about you not stick your foot in your mouth. You have been playing a long time to not know that all those trackers have leaks everywhere. No offense but taking 5th this game was really not worth your time, making a good fold with 99 would have put him in 3rd easy....quite potentially he would have won that game.

If you have enough chips to float to top 3 do you call with 99 when someone shoves all in preflop?

Almost always you are either flipping or dominated, with the very rare chance that they are shoving a lower PP....Calling off 2/3s of your stack preflop with 99 is not a good play....its a risky one.

I end up winning the 4king game. Awesome HU vs Jeffsbabe, she always puts up a A game fight...I think we were in HU for about 2 blind rounds...which is impressive in a $1 game.

Februrary 25th, 2010

Pretty nice night at UB...I couldn't believe they were NOT trying to set me up.

Aside from that I woke up really late so I did not get much done. I ran over to Jolly Roger Poker for a few HU games and went 2-0, I am really starting to like this site. Maurice hit me up on the late night to get into a 6.60 KO ended up with 1 KO, but we both got KOed in top 18. We both ran into some problematic hands, and I was severely short stacked and faced by an all in from a guy who had been all in 3 times prior in a row....Figuring I was pretty live, I got it in.

Monday Februrary 23rd

Won the $150 guarantee tonight.

I was short stacked the whole time, but when I picked up a chip lead late I did not donk it off. In HU only very rarely do I loose with a chip advantage.

Made a good bit of money in SNGS and Cash tables tonight also.

Sunday Februray 21, 2010

Today was an up and down day for me. The highlight of my day came when I knocked out AceJones deep in the GFN Forum Wars. We had 4 people make the final table, and it was our first good showing....funny how that works when its a buy-in for more than a $1.

Retrospectively looking into the past games I feel that our team needs some sort of financial incentive to play our best. We have a lot of players who are very capable of playing to the FT...but I just do not think we took it serious enough prior.

I ended up cashing in the $150 Guaranteed today.

I also picked up a BLT ticket for this coming up weekend.

Ran a bunch of UT SNG's and played really well, but unfortunately alligator blood short stacks hit every 10% out on the river known to man. This resulted in me taking 3rd. Though I was profitable throughout these investments.

I really have been reducing my amounts of sleep. I took a nap for 2 hours at like 9am this morning until the crew cup at 11. I think I hit the alarm at least 4 times before I got out of bed. Deprivation ensued, I endured another all night grind. Its now 4:43 when I am writing this. I have been having a great time chatting with my fellow night owl Adriel, who is a follower. He is a great dude, and is always there for me. I think he watches more of my games, than he plays himself. To each his own. I actually watched Adriel play "poker" tonight...which is always fun...since he is usually playing blackjack or monopoly...very rarely does he actually see flops of his own.

I have also been bull shitting all through the night with my favorite aussie, Steve "Teach Em" Meachem. We have been up basically playing through the wee hours of the night. I usually don't blog like this, I try to stick to more a more informational approach. But these guys are my crew when it comes to grinders.

I also did some work on my bankroll management spreadsheet. It really needs to be used more consistently, and thoroughly...I do not have any excuses....but I do hope that I can be more diligent with tracking my games, profits, and losses through a wide spectrum of analytical mathematics.

One thing I heard tonight was that Ho is gonna run a new promotion for a small bankroll and lessons. From what I gather you will have to build a "Why do you think you deserve this" essay. I feel I do have a specific edge in obtaining this promotion. I am clearly involved with Rounders Radio, Poker Ho's Shows, and UB. I am not sure if I am gonna write an essay or do a video. I am still contemplating the tactics I will use to obtain these lessons, but I think I am starting to build up enough persuasive perspectives as to why I would be the best candidate. I eat, do not sleep, and breathe poker. I've read numerous books, articles, and forum posts that show my ongoing interest in pursuing applicable information. Since I have a hard time breaking the mold of a low stakes grinder I think I would gain the most benefit from pro lessons. I do not go to school, have a job, have many hobbies, or really do anything other than spend time with my girlfriend. I do plan on winning my WSOP package this year through UB's Step Program.

I am now blogging status reports, trying to keep track of all my buy ins, learning the ins and outs of my PT3, and scheduling for the entire week on a excel spreadsheet. Overall I would say that I have taken my game to an all new tier. One of my main goals for this year was to utilize my abilities in thinking by taking them into actions. I have had a lot of these ideas for over a year. Putting them into place, and staying committed to my plan of action is going to be a daunting task.

Someone in RoundersRadio chat said to me today, "Snake you are never happy with the way you play" in response to that I am not.

My never satisfied thirst to revolutionize each action and reaction I make shows the level of desire I have to persevere through the poker community. I am a passionate individual who will not take no for an answer. Kurt Warner was a trash man before he tried out to be a quarter back, Micheal Jordan was cut from his freshman high school basketball team, and Einstein failed high school math. What made these individuals who they became? The undaunted, unsatisfied, and unstoppable passion to do what it is that they loved. As time being the only unknown factor in my probability for succession, I feel as if each day I put one more piece into the puzzle. As to its completion will never be obtained, but soon I promise you will be able to see parts of the big picture.

Once again thank you for you're time, reply posts are truly appreciated. I feel gaining opinions from those around you is the best way to build a better total perspective. Hope you enjoy reading the blog, if you want me to specifically address a certain topic I would be more than happy to.

Tom McEvoy's Beat Texas Holdem

I just recently was given “Beat Texas Hold’em” by Tom McEvoy and Shane Smith. Part 4 of this book is titled, “Online Hold’em; The Pajama Game.” One of the chapters within this section is called, “Tom’s Top 10 Winning Tips”. A lot of this information you may have heard before, but I feel some people might get some use out of it. I read this portion, and I will paraphrase the sections for you.

Concentrate on strong starting hands and your position at the table.

Playing strong hands allows you to limit tough decisions, and gain overall advantages in showdown value. By playing strong starting hands you can often have post-flop advantage that allows you to continue betting or calling on future streets. Position is the key in NLHE poker, and you will hear that it is your most advantageous strategy when playing postflop. Allowing the ability to see all action prior to you making one restricts potential unwanted raises, and a better situational understanding on the value of continuation betting.

Aviod playing too loose online.

Lower limit players tend to play a lot of hands. Combating this is often done by playing tighter postflop than you’re opponents. This loose strategy will often win you a lot of small pots, but lose big ones. In the lower limits often the saying, “Tight is Right” will benefit you the most, since players hands ranges are usually pretty weak postflop.

Practice reading the flop.

Reading, knowing, and using the boards texture is a big gun in the arsenal of poker. If you are holding AA and the flop comes out 910J with two diamonds often you are what we like to say, “Barley ahead or far behind.” Also knowing that an opponent may fold a mid pair or even two pair on boards like this should allow you to make post flop bets based on the player’s actions. Online there are options to have the cards come out in a 4 color deck. This helps to distinguish spades from clubs mainly, but essentially it color codes the suits. Knowing the best possible hand quickly is often tough for most players at the start, but the more hands you play the better it becomes.

Adjust to the speed of the game

There are many different aspects that make up the speed of the game. Blind structure, betting patterns, and payout structures greatly weigh on the speed of players play, and how they will approach it. Blinds online can increase from every 2 minutes to every 12 minutes on average. There are longer blind structures but in most non-deepstack tournaments you will be playing blinds seem to fall in this window. If Blinds are increasing every two minutes you should be playing aggressively, as comparative to 12 minutes where you should be playing tight. If players are betting aggressively or shoving all in this can dramatically change the speed of the game. You may be able to limp in middle position with KJ in your house game, but not here. I will see people bet 20x the BB with little to nothing. Make sure that you are not getting pushed around, or betting too little if opponents are willing to play for 6BB what they would for 3BB. Payout structures often determine how players will play later in tournaments. A winner take all tournament will be played aggressively, where as when 50% of the field gets played you can assume that there is going to be a bubble of tight play around 70% of the field remaining.

Take notes while you are playing.

Taking good notes is a great tool for the online player. Things that are helpful are often players betting patterns, players win record, average buy in, potential information said in chat, players reasoning, starting hand range, preflop raise amounts, post flop betting strategies, players devotion to the game, and any reads on the player you can make. Sites like sharkscope.com, and onlinepokerrankings.com give a nice depiction on a players Return on Investment (ROI%), Average buy in, Win/Loss record, and Consistency. Where as to gain other information you can either review the hand histories available, or learn something through talking with him in chat.

Look for tells.

Player tells are a lot harder to confirm online than live. So obtaining one is a lot harder, but also a lot more valuable. People talk about people who click, “The fold to any bet” button as being a profitable tell. I disagree all you are really going to get a blind round or two at most from that, though it is a tell. I prefer to look at hand histories people have betting tendencies that are prevalent over any decent amount of data sets. One thing that I have found is that if someone 3bets their strong hands preflop they will almost always fold to a raise preflop if they have limped out of position. If they do call often you can bet them out of the pot on the flop or turn, for some decent value. Another is that people are more willing to 3bet light on the Button or Cut Off positions than anywhere else often re-raising will get them to fold preflop.

Play small tournaments first.

Playing at a lower level allows you to risk less to gauge where you should be at amongst buy-in levels. Working your way up is often the safest route when trying to establish your bankroll at a specific game. I wouldn’t advise putting more than 10% of your poker bankroll into one session at any time.

Schedule your tournament play.

Scheduling is often the best way to bring organization to a large amount of games throughout the day. If you open a Microsoft Spreadsheet, you can type in the games you want to play for the day so that you don’t forget. This also helps you to remember any specific tournament you may win a ticket that does not start until a later date. Keeping these records will most importantly keep you from missing games. I know I have at least missed 20 games, and I do keep a schedule. I don’t recommend registering for tournaments in the future until you are sure you are going to be able to play them. Waiting 1 hour before the game starts to register should help you to remove some of those missed game errors.

Don’t play to escape something else.

Playing stressed out, or in anticipation of something else will cause a lack of involvement in the game at hand. When playing poker you are in a mental battle of wit, so make sure you are able to be focused on the game at hand. Often people will be watching T.V., doing laundry, or even writing emails. This allows players to gain a natural advantage when playing you because you don’t have any recollection of the hands that have played out. Often the little things you miss will be the deciding factor in your payout.

Don’t deposit more money than you can afford to lose.

Bankroll management is the key to long term success in playing poker. Make sure to diversify your poker bankroll to take hits, and keep yourself from playing over your head at any one specific place. This is a game of skill but there is a lot of gambling involved so make sure that you are not gambling your rent. There is plenty of small buy in tournaments that you can play online, so there is no need to stress yourself out by playing higher limits than what is comfortable.

Wednesday February 17th

Back to Back 1st places in Slydawg and HPC.

Slydawgpoker Ticket really did me some good.

Overall I played great, I folded 3 PP early as the flop came out Axx. I folded two pair to a straight. I made a semi-bad play shoving J10s at the end. But I was still 60/40 so it was a classic race that I lost.

I played short stacked the entire game, staying in the bottom 10% for the last 110 people or so. I managed to slither my way through the field, and strike when it was needed to make it a few levels deep in the ITM.

I really want to thank Slydawg, TOG, Volcano, Cory, Milkman, and FoldingQueens for the rail....really made me feel good.

Pokerstars 40 Billion Hand Celebration

Win big by celebrating 40 billion hands dealt!

It’s milestone time again at PokerStars this February, and this one is huge - 40 billion hands dealt! This means you can expect tons of exciting cash game prizes and great value tournaments - including the biggest ever Sunday Million - plus loads more.

PokerStars could never have reached this incredible landmark without our players, so F40 is our way of thanking the millions of you who helped us get there. There are millions of dollars to play for, including multi-table tournaments with huge guarantees, milestone hand rewards in cash games leading up to the 40 billion Mega Milestone, Super Sit & Go’s, First Depositor Freerolls and a special VIP Club instant cash credit. This is F40, and it doesn’t get much bigger than this.

Read on to find out how to take part, or use the links below to jump straight to the F40 promotion you are looking for.

Cash Games MTTs Sit & Go’s First Depositor Freerolls VIP Club
Cash Games
F40: Milestone Hands

There will be cash prizes across all our cash game tables in the days leading up to the 40 billion Mega Milestone hand. Players dealt into every millionth hand will win a cash prize of $40 for every VPP they earned in the previous 40 hands played on that table. Because PokerStars wants everyone to be a winner, an extra VPP will be awarded to all players dealt in - this means you’ll win a minimum of at least $40. The winner of the hand will also get their cash prize doubled!

Example:

You are playing at a $1/$2 table and get dealt into a milestone hand. PokerStars calculates that in the last 40 hands at that table you have earned 31 VPPs. Add that to the extra VPP that all players dealt in are awarded, and you have a total of 32 VPPs. This means you’ll win $1,280 (32 x $40). Go on to win the hand and this will be doubled to $2,560 (2 x $1,280).

When the big 40 billion Mega Milestone is reached, all players dealt in will be rewarded $400 for every VPP earned in the previous 40 hands (calculated same as above, including the bonus VPP for all players dealt in). The winner of the Mega Milestone will also have their prize money doubled - which could mean a grand total of tens of thousands of dollars!

Example:

Using the same scenario as above, you’d now win $12,800 for being dealt into the 40 billionth hand (32 x $400). Win the hand and this will be doubled to $25,600.

Please Note: In the event of a split pot - if the hand is a tie or the game being played is Hi/Lo - all winners of the hand will have their prize money doubled. This applies only to the main pot in the hand, as side pots are not included.
Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs)

PokerStars is the home of tournament poker, so it’s only right then that F40 should include an incredible schedule of big-money events. Here’s what’s in store:
F40: Sunday Million $4,000,000 guaranteed!

In a joint celebration with the 4th anniversary of the Sunday Million, we’ll be boosting the prize pool to an incredible $4,000,000 on February 21 - that’s the biggest ever prize pool and includes at least $1,000,000 for first place!

The tournament takes place at 16:30 ET and has a buy-in of $215. Satellites will be available all week, starting from just a few dollars.
F40: $40 Micro Million $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament

There’ll be a special F40 tournament taking place at 14:30 ET on Sunday, February 14. For a buy-in of just $40 you can play for your share of a guaranteed $1,000,000 prize pool.
F40: 40 FPP - $40,000 Specials

You can also play in a series of special F40 FPP tournaments. Each has a buy-in of only 40 FPPs and a prize pool of $40,000. Start times will alternate between 13:40 ET & 21:40 ET each day.

To register for the Sunday Million or any of the other F40 tournaments, open the PokerStars lobby, click ‘Tourney’ & ‘Special’.

Sit & Go’s
F40: Super Sit & Go Tournaments

For Sit & Go players there will be a series of special 40-man Super Sit & Go tournaments running 24/7 from February 14-21 across a range of buy-in levels that suit all players and bankrolls: $1.10, $11, $22, $55. The winner of every tournament gets a slice of $40,000, shared out between all the winners at each buy-in level.

Keep a look out for the F40 Super Sit & Go’s in the PokerStars lobby by clicking ‘Sit & Go’ and ‘All’.

Example:

Over the course of F40, there are 953 Super Sit & Go’s completed at the $11 level. Win one and you’ll get $41.97 ($40,000/953). Go on to win four of these and you’ll get a share of the prize pool for all of them - that’s $167.88 (4 x $41.97). All of the Super Sit & Go cash prizes will be paid by February 23, once all prize calculations are completed.

F40: First Depositor Freerolls

All play money players can win cash with the PokerStars F40 freerolls. Simply make your first real money deposit using the deposit code ‘F40’ and you’ll be awarded a ticket to all 40 of our special free-to-enter tournaments running February 14-21 - each with a $1,000 prize pool!

Lean and Mean Protein Machine Salad.

This was my favorite salad of all time. I made this about a week ago, and let me tell you it was amazing.

Salad Contents: Romaine, Red Onion, Tomato, Black Olives, Boiled Eggs, Italian 4 Cheese, Avocado.

Dressing: Artichoke Oil with Chunks. Paired with an Italian Vinaigrette.

Protein: Slightly seared pork loin.

I really want to have this again.....I am thinking of things I could add.....not much. Frying the pork loin was an excellent idea instead of using bacon.

Citrus apple chicken on a bed of white rice.

This is what I made today for dinner. I could have cooked it down a little longer, but overall it came out great.

Marinade : Orange Juice and a little Worcestershire. Fresh squeezed Oranges, Lemons, and Limes. Zest of Lemon, Lime and Orange. Grated ginger, Chopped Garlic, and Diced Apples.

Protein : De-boned, De-skinned Chicken Thighs.

Carbohydrate: White Rice

Garnish: Fresh Orange Slices.

Seasonings: Salt and Pepper to taste.

Marinade sat for about 2 hours prior to cooking, Boiled Chicken to De-Bone and De-Skin. Boiled chicken in Marinade for 30 minutes. I honestly feel that after doing this you should cook down the marinade prior to putting the chicken in for 20 minutes. I think a nice high heat would give this more of a glaze texture. An excellent addition to this would be pineapple. I also added a little Agave Sweetener (a healthier honey) Most orange chickens call for a fry, but I was trying to take this in a healthier route.

Pretty good night

Pretty good night for me overall. I ended up winning Sadies "Pull the Trigger" Game for the 2nd consecutive week. I end up winning a $26 token to take a shot at a FTOP 8 Qualifier. Not to mention taking the top 3 in the Slydawg game nets me a 10k ticket at UB. Kinda donked off my lead at the end of it all, but a few bad flips KK < 9x 99x board, and Ax vs QJ he hit the Q.........still happy with 3rd. Other than the end of the slydawg game I played really well.

Sunday was a wierd day for me. Made some money.

First off, I end up making the money in the $22 200k game, only to be sucked out by 6 outer rivers twice....both players made very ignorant plays and was reward for it.

Then I end up getting up to 50k in the daily dollar, but I run into AA twice with KK.

Then this tournament.

Weekend 420 game, and Wake N Bake at Reefer Poker

At 4:20 on Saturday and Sunday's reefer throws $50 added into a special tournament called "Weekend 4:20"Its $4.20 buy in and is an excellent way to get a little more bang for you're buck. Also on these days they do a "Wake N Bake" tournament where they add $20 its a $2 R/A game, which will also boost you're EV tournaments.

Ub loves to let them suck out on me calling stupid.

Lost in two big MTT's today once with KK once with two pair.

KK totally trapped AQ for my all in.....River Ace.

Second time, I flop two pair....check raise the guy he calls with 3rd pair....and turns his 2 outer set.

I lost 4 other tournaments today with KK to Ax, and its really starting to tick me off.

Hope you had better luck than me. I ended up making $24, but basically got screwed out of a 3 digit day.......well once again at least I profited.

Thursday Februrary 4th 2010

Day started off pretty hectic with the whole computer issues. I did not get to play before I made dinner. I got stuck downloading sites, and programs, and whatnot. It may have proved beneficial.

I ended up making $68.09 in profit, after all the buy-ins. I ended up taking 3rd in a $10 SNG....dude was down to 1BB in top 3 and doubled on me with 72. I should have called him with K8, but I was hoping to see better cards, and they never came. Lost in a flip to a 3 outer......come on give me some love. Played for around 6 hours so essentially I made $11.30 an hour which is nice.

I ended up winning a $5 Don over at reefer which was nice, since I lost like $8.80 over there earlier. That helped to revive that account.

I will be posting my lean and protein salad tomorrow during the day, I took a picture.

I ended up loosing a SNG with JJ to 77 on the first few hands to a 789 flop. Over committing into the pot, I kinda had to call early and prey he did'nt hit his 2 outer on the flop.....he did. :(

Overall not a bad day today. I rate my play as an A. I think I could have folded a few times post flop, but it seems like it is almost impossible for me to fold an over pair post-flop. Maybe someday I will learn when I need to be doing that.

Took 1st place in Holdem Poker Chat 2/3/2010

Overall a great game by me. I got one lucky 3 outer on the river on the final table with KQ > AQ. Also one 6 outer at the very end of the game to take the last 3.5k from Talkpoker2me. Overall HU I played phenomenally, I made a lot of successful semi-bluffs. It appeared that she was just never really catching any big hands. I noticed 2 trends on her style of play about 10 hands into HU that really helped me gain my chip lead, and extend it.

I was like a 2-1.25 to start HU, and she managed to pull it about even early. I started doing some more aggressive position plays because it seemed like she was waiting for a monster to re shove and double. Slowly but surely I started picking off pots, and took a definite lead.

I bet 10k into a 10k pot, but there was a ton of draws on the turn. I had a set, and figured if he she called the bet I am still a favorite. But I was sure she was drawing to 8 outs.

If you have ever played in either one of these tournaments if you send them an email they will send you a ticket to the "Community Freeroll" that is this weekend. With over 2k up for grabs once a month its an excellent tournament for anyone playing a few games on reefer can get into. The awesome part about this is both of those competitions have added cash also :)

Computer Issues.....

Just rebuilt my C:\ computer crashed on me at 6am this morning. Man is it a pain in the arse to have download all my icons again. At least Andy helped me to partition the drive so I am not loosing everything. (((What a sigh of relief)))

I doubt I will be productively playing my schedule today. I'll need to download all my bookmarks, download all my add-ons for Firefox, figure out a few passwords, and make whatever updates necessary. I should be able to play a majority of the added private games later.

Last night I was running pretty decent in two tournaments, prior to crashing. I ended up making 1.38x the buy-in, which is the only good side to this crash.

But I ended up winning from 1-6 taking down a $5 SNG which helped.

Yesterday was nothing special but at least it was profitable.

Took 2nd Place @ Pokerspace 2/3/2010

Folded like 7 dominated hands HU, I just couldnt get the cards to ever win this. I made like 7 big bluff bets with air. Best hand I had in HU was either my KQ or 44 both of them I lost with.

Nothing much I can do, but take 2nd and shut up.

Lost a few private games, once again card dead towards the ladder stages......try to make a play and lose. Seems like a reoccurring dream for me. Called a complete air bet with JJ and dude turned his 5 outer. I hate loosing having someone call off all chips as a 4-1. I am hoping things turn around for me.

Good news though, I end up jumping onto a cash table with $4, and walk with $14. Which paid for all my UB games that I lost. Its about 1 am here, and I might still play a few more games. Not really tired.

A few of my favorite poker forums.

I wanted to start off by recommending a few of my favorite poker forums.

Poker Forums

World Hold'em League is owned by BiggDawgg who has been a friend of mine for while now. He is one of the most active site owners I know, and always seems to post some of the most informational articles in dealing poker news, and strategy. He holds a league on Reefer Poker which consists of $6.60 Buy-In's Every Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday at 9pm ET and a Freeroll Sunday at 3pm ET - Top 5 Awarded Ticket to Any League Buy-In. With a monthly prize pool, player of the year, and $250 added in the end of the year tournament it is a site you should not miss. They also have a radio playing a verity of good tunes. My alius on WHL is "TomtheBomb" make sure to add me as a friend.

This is one of my favorite sites they have a series of radio shows that are extremely informational. Shows like "Poker Talk Beyond the Books" allows players to either post questions or call in to discuss poker topics to become a better poker player. Post a question in that thread in the forum and you will be eligible for a $25 bankroll. When signing up for the site make sure to say that "SolidSnakeLogic" was you're referrer. With radio shows from ESPN's inside deal co-host Bernard Lee, and Poker Pro's such as Poker Ho this is defiantly a great place to better you're game. A lively chat room, and excellent support staff make this site really shine. Rounders radio is a part of the GamingForumNetwork which has a bunch of excellent games throughout the week with added money.

Suited Pockets

Suited Pockets is also a part of the gaming forum network. They have a very active forum, and few added money games throughout the week.

PokerCartel

Another member of GFN they hold great Bounties, and added games.

This is an excellent site that provides poker courses not to mention a full functioning forum. With plenty of freerolls, and free pokerspace points games on the schedule this is an excellent place to get started for a lower level player. They hold a crew cup game that is tons of fun. My alius on pokerspace is "Probability101" add me as a friend!

I have been member at this site for awhile now. They hold added games on a variety of networks with an additionally added monthly prize pool. All the buy-ins are under $6 so its an excellent league that is affordable to play. They also have an excellent administrator who posts regularly, and is very active in Twitter. Another great site to check out. When signing up make sure to use the name "TomtheBomb" as you're referrer.

Another great forum with an excellent money added league. He also has a great free sports pick'em league, and soon to be starting a NASCAR league. He throws a lot of added money into prize pools per month so make sure to register over here. When signing up make sure to use the name "TomtheBomb!" for you're referrer.

2+2

Two plus two is an excellent forum that really seems to specialize in poker tracker useage. They have an excellent podcast on sunday and a tournament for those who can figure out the password. The tournament is at 2:55 on Pokerstars and Cost 1FPP, but with all the money that pokerstars adds to it, its well worth it. Check out the pokercast here.
